This policy describes Light for the World’s approach to partnerships with Organisations of People with Disabilities (OPDs). Strong OPDs are crucial for the empowerment of women and men, girls and boys with disabilities and in making their voices and interests heard. Accordingly, supporting OPDs in their capacity to participate in decision-making is an important part of our commitment to the rights of women and men, girls and boys with disabilities and to inclusive development in general.
