COVID-19 spurs long-term social, economic and environmental disruption in countries both rich and poor. The coming weeks and months provide a new opportunity to break this vicious cycle as global vaccination roll-outs and national vaccination plans begin. Light for the World calls all relevant stakeholders to ensure equitable and inclusive COVID-19 vaccination roll-outs. This policy statement provides four recommendations, focussing on the affordability, availability, accessibility and awareness of COVID-19 vaccination strategies, to make sure that no one is left behind.
